Registration opens on June 20, 2011!

The West Caldwell Public Library is happy to announce our fifth annual Adult Summer Reading Club: Novel Destinations @ West Caldwell Public Library. Enjoy lively dinner, movie, and book discussions, entertaining programming, prize contests, prize drawings for books and more! Simply read (or listen) and review just three books from June 20, 2011 to August 15, 2011 to be eligible for the grand prize drawing. Only books read during the before mentioned dates are valid for contest entry.  Please call or visit the Reference Department at 973-226-5441 for full contest rules.

Book reviews can be submitted in person and online.

Summer reading book review logs can be obtained at the Reference Desk and Reader's Corner, or downloaded online.

Claude & Camille: A Story of Monet
Featuring: Stephanie Cowell

Stephanie Cowell, author of the novel Claude & Camille, will present a  reading, book signing, and discussion of Monet and the birth of  Impressionism. Cowell will also show a power point presentation of some of Monet's paintings and will sing a couple of French folk songs that are mentioned in the novel. Cowell is the author of other historical novels including"Marrying Mozart" and "The Players: A Novel of Young Shakespeare." Copies of Claude & Camille will be available for purchase.
